CONNEAUT - Thanks to more than $2 million in one-time 2011 expenses, the City of Conneaut has little choice but to change the way it does business if it expects to balance next year’s budget. Lenox gets go ahead for NOPEC projects Jefferson Gazette

LENOX TOWNSHIP - Lenox Township trustees can proceed with installation of various energy conservation projects. Wynn Wessell, Lenox Township trustee, said they received word from the Northeastern Ohio Public Energy Council (NOPEC) that the $17,000 grant has been approved. “We got the approval Aug. 18,” Wessell said. Wessell was the trustee responsible for preparing all the documentation for the grant. NOPEC set a deadline of July 23 to submit everything concerned with the township grant request.
