CONNEAUT – Race fans in northeast Ohio won’t see the reg flag flown on racing at Raceway 7 in Conneaut. Under a one-year lease agreement, new owners will drop the green flag on the 2009 season on May 1.
Earlier this year, a message appeared on the Raceway 7 website that due to family health concerns, the track would not open.
But last week, Lorain County Speedway owner Terry Adams worked out a one-year lease with current owner Ron Nielson.
The lease comes with a to-buy option after the 2009 season. more... |
