JEFFERSON - Heading into 2010, the Ashtabula County General Fund had lost $3 million in two consecutive years. After years of declining revenues, and decreased budgets, the department heads and elected officials throughout the county are finally starting to get it.

JEFFERSON - The county’s solid waste district is trying to save our natural resources, one recyclable item at a time. But it can be hard when dealing with dumpster fires and excessive littering.
After a summer period that was wrought with more than a couple fires, the Ashtabula County Solid Waste District is beginning to see a rise in misuse of the recycling centers and they need your help.
