Funeral Mass for Stella E. Marold, 91, of Mentor, was held June 2 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Mentor. She died May 30, 2008 at her residence. She was born Dec. 12, 1916 in Homestead, Pa. and had been a Mentor resident for the past 40 years. Prior to that, she lived in Cleveland. She was a member of the Mentor Senior Center and the 60 Plus Club. She use to bowl, golf, volunteer and was in early theatre groups. She loved to read and play cards, especially pinochle. She was always known to have a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. Mrs. Marold was the co-owner of the former Marold Sign Studio in the Collinwood area and Mentor for 38 years.
Survivors are her daughter, Barbara (Floyd) Strittmatter of Mentor; son, Larry B. Marold of Euclid; grandchildren, Larry C. (Alicia) Marold, David Strittmatter, Laura Jones, Janet Ramsey, Michelle (Robert) Warmuth and Jessica Elmore; great-grandchildren, Kristy, Tommy, Domenic, Anthony, Angel, Robert, Michael, Jacob and Alexandra; cats, Simba and Nancy; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Her husband, Albert F. "Happy" Marold; son, Albert A. Marold; parents, Anthony and Wilma Kolpas; and sister, Wilma (Gus) Peepers; are deceased. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Western Rserve for the exceptional care they gave for the past six weeks. The Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Mentor, handled funeral arrangements. Interment was at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon. The family suggests donations to Hospice of the Western Resrve, 300 East 185th St., Cleveland 44119.

 | A memorial service for Michael A. Heidenreich, 54, of Madison Village,
was held May 19 at Behm Family Funeral Home in Madison. Mr
Heidenreich died May 14, 2007 at Hospice of the Western Reserve,
cleveland.
He was born March 3, 1953, in Lakewood, Ohio. He was a US Air
Force veteran, serving in Vietnam. He Enjoyed watching classic
movies, spending time with his children while coaching softball, Little
League and MYBA. He will be remembered for always having a joke
on hand.
Survivors are his wife of 19 years. Gail, children, Emily and Daniel
Heidenreich and Rachel Born; brother Jeffrey Stricko; aunt and uncle,
Maggie and Tedd Heidenreich; and cousins. He also leaves behind
his mother and father-in-law, Frank and Sally Brundula; brother-in-law.
Dennis Brundula; and his pets, Pugsley, and Pixie. His
grandparents, Carl and Gladys Heidenreich; and uncles, Jim and Mack are
deceased.
The family suggest donations to the family to purchase a Memory Brick at Hospice of the Western Reserve.
